Request Samples
Test the product before you buy the container. Tell us what you need to coat, which market you sell in and roughly how much you expect to buy.
How sampling works
There are two paths, depending on whether you are testing an existing product or developing something new.
- Reference sample — you name the product category and application, we send the closest standard SKU from the 35-product range
- Development sample — you send a spec, a reference product from your current supplier, or a colour target, and we formulate and label a sample for your approval
- Every sample ships with the TDS for that formulation and the SDS you will need for import
What to include in your request
The more of this you give us in the first message, the faster the sample is on its way and the fewer rounds it takes:
- Substrate — steel, aluminium, ABS, PP, wood, concrete, glass, fabric, rubber
- Performance target — heat resistance, salt spray hours, adhesion, flexibility, gloss level
- Colour — RAL, Pantone or a physical reference sample
- Format — can size, valve type, label language
- Market — destination country, so the sample carries the right document set
- Volume — expected monthly or annual quantity, which tells us what we can afford to develop
Sample cost and shipping
For qualified trade inquiries, reference samples are free. The buyer normally covers the courier, or provides their own courier account when the sample set is larger. Development samples that require new colour matching or a new formulation are quoted per project.
Samples are sent as a commercial sample shipment with the documentation required for aerosol products, so nothing is held at customs.
What you receive
A sample can is only useful if it comes with the information your technical and compliance teams need. Each sample shipment includes:
Once you approve the sample, production is scheduled — typically about 20 days to goods ready for shipment, at a minimum order of 1,000 cans per SKU per colour.
- The sample can or cans, labelled as they would be in production
- TDS with the performance data of the exact formulation sent
- SDS in GHS format for your market
- A quotation for the target quantity once you confirm the sample is suitable
